Ronald D. Klizek, M.D., is a native of western
New York, born and raised Niagara
Falls. He attended Niagara University obtaining his Bachelor of
Science with honors, majoring in biology with a minor in
chemistry. Following his undergraduate studies, he
attended SUNY Upstate
Medical University in Syracuse, New
York where he obtained his M.D.
Dr. Klizek completed his internship and residency in diagnostic
radiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University as well.
He obtained his pediatric radiology training at Boston Children s
Hospital in Boston,
Massachusetts.
Following residency, he completed a diagnostic imaging fellowship
at SUNY Upstate Medical University in ultrasound and
cross-sectional imaging and obtained a certificate of added qualifications
in nuclear radiology (nuclear medicine). Dr Klizek is
board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of
Radiology
Following training, Dr. Klizek joined Jamestown Radiologists in July of
1982. Currently, he holds the office of
president. He is a former staff member of
Jamestown General Hospital and is a current staff member at the
WCA Hospital in Jamestown, New
York. He is a past president of
the WCA Hospital Medical Staff and currently sits on the Board of
Directors of WCA Hospital. He has been a clinical
instructor in diagnostic radiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University and has been a guest
lecturer at the Graduate School of Speech and Hearing at SUNY
Fredonia. He is a past president of the Chautauqua
County Medical Society.
Dr. Klizek is married and has two grown children and lives in
Lakewood, New York. His outside
interests include antiques, wine, cross-country skiing and
biking.
James G. Dahlie MD, was born in Park Falls, WI. He received his
BA from University of
Wisconsin in Madison, WI, his MD
at Howard University in Washington, DC. He completed his
internship at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH and
his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Kansas Medical
Center in Kansas City,
KS. Dr.
Dahlie received his Board Certification in June 1977.
Dr. Dahlie came to Jamestown in July 1977.
He is a member of Jamestown Radiologists and a staff physician at
WCA Hospital in Jamestown, NY. He is a past
president of the WCA Medical Staff and Jamestown Radiologists, PC.
He is credentialed in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, PET,
Interventional and Mammography.
Thomas L. Greer, MD, was born in Rochester, New York
He received his BA from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY and
his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry,
Rochester, NY. He completed his
internship at The Genesee Hospital, his diagnostic radiology residency at
the University of Rochester Medical Center, and his fellowship in Body
Imaging and Non-Vascular Interventional Radiology at the University of
Rochester Medical Center, all in Rochester, NY. Dr. Greer
received his Board Certification in June 1987
Dr. Greer came to Jamestown in July of 1988.
He is a member of Jamestown Radiologists and a staff physician at
WCA
Hospital.
He is credentialed in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and
PET.
Lyndon S. Gritters, MD received his medical degree
from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, Iowa City, IA in
1989. While at the University of Iowa he was the recipient of the
Lange Medical Publications Award, the William R. Wilson Award for
Exceptional Accomplishment in Internal Medicine, the Merck Manual Award
for Superior Scholastic Achievement, and he was inducted into the Alpha
Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Prior to medical
school he authored a book on comparative chordate anatomy, The Anatomy of
Gallus Domesticus.
Dr. Gritters trained in Internal Medicine and
Nuclear Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, MI, and
in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer
Center and Texas Children s Hospitals, Houston, TX. While in training
he co-authored several peer reviewed publications, and pioneered the use
of PET scanning in the staging of melanoma patients.
Dr Gritters received triple board certification from the American Board
of Radiology, the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, and the
Certification Council of Nuclear Cardiology in 1996. He
is Chairman of the Department of Radiology and the Radiation Safety
Officer at WCA Hospital, and is a partner in
Jamestown Radiologists, PC. His practice focus includes
Women s Imaging and Interventional Radiology
Brian D. Meagher, MD, was born in Bronx, NY. He received his
BA from Cornell University School of Arts and Sciences, Ithaca, NY and his MD from Georgetown University
School of Medicine, Washington DC. He completed his
internship at David
Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis AFB, CA and his diagnostic
radiology residency at University of Massachusetts Medical Center,
Worcester, MA. Dr. Meagher
received his Board Certification in June 1995.
Dr Meagher came to Jamestown in September 2003.
He is a member of Jamestown Radiologists and a staff physician at
WCA Hospital in Jamestown, NY. He is
credentialed in CT, MRI, PET, Nuclear Med, Ultrasound, and
Mammography.
Bruce H. Rockwell, MD, joined Jamestown Radiologists in July
1997 after completing a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional
Radiology at the Pittsburgh Vascular Institute, UPMC Shady side Hospital
in Pittsburgh, PA. His residency in Diagnostic
Radiology, from Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, PA was completed in 1996,
following three years of internship and residency in general surgery and
otolaryngology in Pittsburgh and Buffalo, NY. He received his
medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania School of
Medicine in Philadelphia, and Bachelor of
Arts degree in music at Allegheny
College, Meadville, PA.
In addition to his Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in vascular
and interventional radiology, Dr. Rockwell received his American College of Radiology Board
Certification in November 1996.
Dr. Rockwell performs interventional radiology procedures and staffs
the WCA Interventional Radiology Clinic at WCA Hospital at 17 Sherman St., Jamestown, NY. There, he
consults with patients for a variety of disorders including peripheral
vascular disease, varicose veins, uterine fibroids, and spinal compression
fractures.
In addition to full-time medical staff membership at WCA Hospital, Dr. Rockwell is also a staff member at
Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA, as a member of the Hamot Stroke
Salvage program.
While sub-specializing in minimally invasive procedures, Dr. Rockwell
is also certified for interpretation of CT, MRI, ultrasound, PET, and
nuclear medicine studies. He is also a Major in the
United States Army Reserves and has served a recent tour in Iraq.
